THE SERVICES
Our company carries out its operations under a mandate granted by the Latina Local Health Authority . The services offered to users are, in fact, provided in the name and on behalf of the Latina Local Health Authority and are pre-authorized by the same, both qualitatively and quantitatively, based on a joint assessment of the clinical case and the results achieved.
The processes are divided into three very specific functional areas:
EVALUATION AREA
REHABILITATION AREA
SCHOOL ASSISTANCE
EVALUATION AREA
The patient assessment process is carried out through three distinct operational processes, the sequence of which is based on the initial, intermediate, and final deadlines of the process.
In the first phase, the following professionals are involved in the patient assessment approach, known as the “initial assessment.”
The following professionals work with the patient:
- Medical doctor: responsible for the initial assessment of the patient's clinical condition and for the initial assessment of the patient's needs.
- Nurse: responsible for the initial assessment of the patient's clinical condition and for the initial assessment of the patient's needs.
- Social worker: responsible for the initial assessment of the patient's clinical condition and for the initial assessment of the patient's needs.

At the end of the assessment, after sharing the results with the patient, the rehabilitation team issues a Medical Rehabilitation Assessment of the clinical case for the purposes of developing the rehabilitation project and building the patient's life plan.
REHABILITATION AREA
We operate in this manner through the following operational process distinction:
> Family support for patients
- Social Services Desk
It is the point of contact, information, guidance, and access to local personal and social services in general.
- Parent-training sociale
Social parent training is defined as the segmented operational act through which the social worker lays the foundations for an assessment of the family unit in order to identify operational family deficiencies and implement a network intervention aimed at helping the patient's family members acquire skills.
All social worker activities are provided via electronic means.
> Rehabilitation assistance
- Outpatient treatment
Single activity
It is structured in a “face-to-face” mode. It takes place in the therapy room and lasts 1 hour. The process is carried out through 50 minutes of rehabilitation activities, with the following 10 minutes dedicated to returning the patient to their family (in person and/or remotely).
Small group activitiesWhen rehabilitation has achieved the objectives set for individual treatment, the rehabilitation team may request a change in the rehabilitation process, placing the patient in small rehabilitation groups in order to generalize the skills acquired.
- Home care mode
Single activityIt is structured in a “face-to-face” mode. It takes place in the therapy room and lasts 1 hour. The process is carried out by performing 50 minutes of rehabilitation activities, with the following 10 minutes dedicated to returning the patient to their family (in person and/or remotely).
Small group activitiesWhen rehabilitation has achieved the objectives set for individual treatment, the rehabilitation team may request a change in the rehabilitation process, placing the patient in small rehabilitation groups in order to generalize the skills acquired.
- Online and/or remote mode
The substantial change in all of our lives as a result of the COVID-19 emergency has undermined the certainties of those who had considered outpatient and home care to be the only form of rehabilitation feasible during childhood.
On this basis, since April 7, 2020, we have adopted a “smart working” approach to therapy, with remarkable results, thanks in part to the significant operational contribution of families.
Single activity
It is structured in a “face-to-face” mode of operation, with the inclusion of the dynamics of the family member in the process. It takes place in a virtual therapy room and lasts 1 hour. The process is carried out through 50 minutes of rehabilitation activities, followed by 10 minutes of remote communication between the patient and their family. This represents a profound change in the rehabilitation process, as it involves the parent in a sort of spurious parent training, which will produce significant benefits for the patient's overall progress.
Small group activities
When rehabilitation has achieved the objectives set for individual treatment, the rehabilitation team may request a change in the rehabilitation process, placing the patient in small rehabilitation groups in order to generalize what has been learned. In this mode of operation, the presence of the parent will increase the parent's ability to manage relationships within the family unit.
